One of the most widely participated nuclear technology events of the region, the Nuclear Power Plants VII Expo & XI. Summit, were held on 1-2 July, 2025, in Istanbul. Women in Nuclear Türkiye (WiN Türkiye-NÜKAD), in cooperation with the Association of Women in the Nuclear Industry of Russia, organized a special session during the NPPES 2025 on “Women’s Leadership in the Development of High Technology and Innovation in the Nuclear Industry”.
Under the skilful moderation of Nesrin Sevimli, Board Member of NIATR (Nükleer Sanayi Derneği - Nuclear Industry Association of Türkiye) and Founder & Chairwoman of NeSS İletişim, the panel featured an exceptional group of women speakers; B. Gül Göktepe, Sona Valieva, Gülden Türktan, Rozalia Kamaeva (online), Senem Şentürk Lüle, Irina Tazhibayeva (online) and Ekaterina Siventseva.
An event was held at the Rosatom's booth to mark the 80th anniversary of the Russian nuclear sector in 2025. On this significant anniversary, Rosatom representatives presented promising technological solutions for global nuclear energy.
